We have opted for the high road. The adventure of Althea’s Amor began years ago, sparked by the saga of two different groups of women who found themselves navigating the unpredictable waters of a transformative period in their lives. As their bodies underwent changes, their lives evolved, and mainstream society offered little support, these women decided to chart unconventional paths to explore their bodies and perimenopause.
Our Amor
One group embarked on the summer Dead and Co tour, seeking solace in the music of their past to guide them through this chapter. The other group journeyed to the roots of Central America, delving into their heritage and discovering support in the wisdom of plants and the richness of their culture. At Althea’s Amor, we are exploring deep into these stories, unpacking the alternative avenues these women explored to gracefully navigate the challenges of perimenopause.
